What greater thing is there for two human souls than to feel that they are joined..
to
strengthen each other.. to be at one with each other in silent unspeakable memories.”  -- George Eliot

A love divine

In the past, Star Walker of the Month articles have been about one individual at a time. This month however, we are focusing the Star Walker of the Month spotlight on two individuals who make an incredibly inspiring couple, but they are actually one. Although these two people attained tremendous professional success in their own right, as a team, as a ‘power couple’ they stand as an international symbol of success. In a world where social injustice, prejudice and the most basic of human rights continues to be violated around the globe, in their own way these two somehow represent hope in a world where all our differences can be celebrated and embraced equally. Much has been written about their incredible success of their professional lives, but here we choose to focus on the happy success of their marriage.

As husband and wife they have proven themselves exceptional examples in being able to step past their social, cultural and racial differences. The deeper beauty of their marital alliance is the very thing that maybe brings them closer together. The fact that they refuse to be labeled or placed into any social category or stereotypes based on race is refreshing.

Due to their celebrity status their marriage projects an example of racial harmony. As we settle into 2008 with all the overwhelming problems of the world around us, more and more we find or re-discover the importance of embracing our differences to serve the bigger benefits of getting along, the greater good.

Their union seems to simple make people smile. And maybe that’s because deep down people know the true ‘right of a thing’. In other words, the woman who knows she loves the man of color but denies herself for fear of what family and friends might say. Yet somewhere deep down in her heart she despises her own lack of courage for standing for what she instinctually knows is right, true love. For time and time again history has shown that true love knows no color, no boundaries, no limits, no prejudices, no misgivings, no blame, no settling for anything but what is best for the heart, that true destined loved one. Yet how many times have we given in to what is less, out of pressure from society?

Seal and Heidi Klum (pronounced Kloom) seem to walk in the midst of a divine kind of love. You see them and you smile because they had the courage to listen to their hearts and not be pressured by any prejudices of society.  In addition to that, they both are just very nice people. Their warmth kind of arrives at least several minutes before they do, and that is no joke.

Waiting For You

When you look back at all of the obstacles and successes of both Seal and Heidi you can not help but acknowledge that all that they’ve gone through has made it possible for them to embrace the ‘true love’ they share today. It is an awesome thought provoking thing to see someone with Heidi’s beauty, to see her look beyond the physical scares of the man and see the beauty of his spirit (Seal went through a childhood battle with discoid lupus erythematosis, that left him permanently facially disfigured). We could all learn such a valuable lesson about what true beauty is, how to see past the physical, which always will fade with time and the power of knowing that.

I can not help but think and know that in a moment of calm silence Heidi and Seal have on more than one occasion softly told the other how long they have been waiting for the other. But George Eliot said it better when he wrote:  What greater thing is there for two human souls than to feel that they are joined.. to strengthen each other… to be at one with each other in silent unspeakable memories.”

It is inspiring to see them together because to see them is to be drawn into the world of purity of love, unconditional support, and the total acceptance they have for each another.

Human beings

Much has been said and written about the indomitable spirit of ‘Human Beings’. But it is interesting to see it played out on smaller or more subtle scale. Seal shows an incredible glimpse of his ingenuity for the fight for survival. In this case, he was fighting for the survival of his love for the woman he felt was his soul mate, Heidi Klum.

In Style Heidi says: "He sang, got on one knee and proposed. And then there was the igloo – which had to be christened of course!"

In an online interview this extraordinary romantic gesture is described as follows: “Seal wows Klum with an elaborate proposal, chartering a helicopter to fly them to a natural snow cave 14,000 feet off the ground in a Whistler, B.C., glacier, where a specially built igloo waits at the end of a trail of rose petals. Inside, a dazzled Klum finds a bearskin rug, champagne and Seal's guitar. "He'd spent two days building this fairy-tale wonderland that was the most amazing, crazy thing I've ever seen," Klum tells In Style.

It is truly amazing what love can inspire human beings to do.  The lengths people will go to find, nurture or express their love is incredible. Multiple award winning singer and songwriter Seal, and international model/actress Heidi Klum were married on May 10th, 2005.

Fly Like An Eagle

Seal and Heidi have found what many truly successful couples in marriage have discovered, it is that the greatest things, events and successes in life are best experienced when they are shared with that special significant other. In a recent interview Seal is quoted as saying: “Everyday is a new page in our history books that we write for ourselves as a family. It is up to us to fill the pages with how we want the story to go.”

Their relationship is in itself perhaps a ‘prayer for the dying’. In other words, those of us who are blinded by racism, directly or subtlety, are the true walking dead.  If we can’t look beyond a person’s race or appearance, then there is really a  part of our heart, our very being that is dying, or has already died. Have you ever noticed how the face of a devote racist is always a bit twisted and deformed? This is how poisonous their hatred is as it consumes them little by little, day by day. Next time you see one spewing their hate filled doctrine, just look closely and you will see an undeniable ugliness living within them, their demon peering out from their shattered soul periodically.

I believe their love supports one another in ways others outside of their relationship could never see. The love they share is so palpable that people simply smile when they are together. There is something about the two of them that speaks to the heart with an honesty rarely experienced these days in regards to matters of the heart, especially within the world of entertainment. Many marry one year, only to divorce the next. But I believe the relationship between Seal and Heidi is here to last.

It’s All about Family

Living the Lives of chosen Star Walkers

It’s been said before but under the high excitement, adventure, awesome entertainment and inspirational elements of star Walker runs a very serious but subtle message that addresses the human condition. The stories of Star walker deals with the human struggle, on a subtle yet deeper level it is also about ‘the family’. Much of Star walker is about allowing divine empowerment to guide and strengthen our lives, in spite of our short comings or stumbling as humans. The romantic spirit as displayed in the Star Walker Radio Episodes, specifically in Episode VI: House of the Hallow – Part 3 (between Eric Dane & Sarah Mihn) is easily inspired by the romance between Heidi and Seal. It is yet another reason we chose the two of them as our Star Walkers of the Month of January 2008.

Seal & heidi AWARDED AN HONORARY KEN JU KAI RANKING

In recognition of their ongoing success with their family and their distinctive careers of excellence, we present to both an honorary ranking of 5th Rank Ken Ju Kai. They are truly fighting the fight of racial ignorance and equality just by letting their love shine through out the world.

A Special Message to families global

This now being the month of January, yet another holiday season has passed.  However we still encourage all families across the world  to stay strong and committed to one another. To those who have lost loved ones this past year due to war, or illness, or tragedy, we encourage you to stand in the midst of the love they have left in your heart. The Holiday season is especially hard to get through but we encourage you to hang in there, for things always get better.  And pain always grows less over time. We have our memories which offer a sweet calm that we can always rely on.

And lastly I would like to encourage you to carry the true spirit and divine elements of Christmas with you throughout the entire year. I would also encourage you to look beyond the commerciality of Christmas which can sometimes get in the way of our experiencing the true essence and gift of it.  And lastly I extend to you and yours a very prosperous, healthy and loving new year.
